Time flies so fast that I haven't had a chance to update my blog for a while but I have tons of pictures I want to put here and tell about this spring's Rotary events!
Spring Orientation 16-19.3
Spring Orientation is an orientation for all the new inbounds from our district 5370 and prepares them for exchange. Also all the rebounds (ex-exchange students) and us, inbounds gathered together in a hotel in Edmonton.
I had so much fun meeting with everyone and between sessions we hang out, played cards and swam in a hotel pool. We also had flag ceremony for all the students and us inbounds got diplomas that we had competed our exchange successfully.
Me, Hailey who went on exchange to Denmark and Simona from Italy.
We also celebrated St. Patrick's Day and dressed in green.
Rebound Colton and I looking finntastic ;)
Me and rebound Ryan who went to Germany.

Exchange completed successfully!
Finland squad: Colton eho spent his year in Hamina and Victoria who is going to Oulu next year posing with RCMP police.
We had disco both evenings and it was so much fun to dance with everybody!
Me, Mikkel and Frieder holding our flags.
District Conference 6-9.4
District conference is a conference for all the Rotary- and Interact clubs in the district 5370. Conference is held every year and always in a town where the current district governor comes from. This year our district governor is Laura Morie and conference was held in Westlock (an hour drive to north from Edmonton). The conference gathers interesting speakers, rotarians and their clubs succesful stories together to exchange ideas and see what Rotary does locally and globally. This year's theme was What Are You Waiting For?
The conference made me realize how big impact Rotary has to the world and how much good they do in their communities. Because Rotary has made my exchange possible, it made me think how could I give back to Rotary who has already given me so much and made this amazing experience possible.
